What are Body Works Classes all About?
Body Works HIIT will get your metabolism going for hours after the workout. It is a mix of weight training and cardio intervals. This class is for all levels.
Yoga Flow is a vinyasa class with emphasis on alignment and breath, moving at a steady pace through poses in the traditional Surya Namaskar A and B series. No weights are incorporated, and teachers give variations and modifications to accommodate different skill levels. Expect intermediate standing and balancing postures, fun transitions, and arm balances before taking a well-earned savasana!
This high energy fusion class starts with an intense treadmill or elliptical workout and finishes with an athletic yoga flow. You will get cardio, strength training and stretching all in one class. This is a one of a kind class, don’t miss it!
Strengthen and lengthen your body during this fusion class. We will be combing cardio, barre and weights during this class.
During this class you will use a variety of equipment including balance balls, bands and dumbbells to get in a full body strength workout. This class is for all levels.
Yoga Sculpt is a class that incorporates hand weights and high-intensity cardio bursts to the beat of music for a maximum calorie-burning effect. The light weights add a new challenge to traditional yoga classes and will help you sculpt muscles you didn’t know you had. Yoga Sculpt also incorporates cardio exercises to get your heart pumping and your blood flowing.
This is a fun, cardio workout using indoor cycling bikes. This class is for all levels.
Power Yoga is also a vinyasa class, but the sequence is usually more challenging and often incorporates core work to build strength and endurance. This class is typically very similar to Yoga Flow, but do about 5 minutes of steady ab excerses as well.
TRX is suspension training bodyweight exercises that develop strength, balance, flexibility, and core stability simultaneously.
30 minutes of cycling fused with a 30 minute yoga component focusing on building core strength and stretching the lower body.
This class is all about intervals and tabata style of teaching. The basic format is 30 minutes of cycling and 15 minutes of strength, core and stretching. Modifications will be given for all levels.
