My name is Tucker Benjamin and I am a certified athletic trainer (ATC) currently employed at TRIA Orthopedic Center in Woodbury.  I first fell in love with strength and fitness in High School when my work in the weight room allowed me to excel on the field and eventually earn myself a spot on the University of Mary Marauders playing NCAA D2 football. There my education as well as personal time spent training and shadowing the head strength coach there gave me the tools and passion for giving individuals the gift of strength.  I love the complex yet simple process of gaining strength and strive to teach individuals to move well, get strong, and live a fulfilling and meaningful life outside the gym.  In my time outside of training and work I love to run agility with my girlfriend Brooke and our 4 border collies.

My name is Tara Shafrath, I have my master’s degree in Nutrition, Exercise and Food Science from South Dakota State University. I have worked in the fitness industry part-time as a fitness class instructor and Yoga instructor since 2012 I love helping other’s work towards their health and wellness goals and I think personal training, group personal training, and fitness classes are an awesome way to help people do that.  In addition to my education, I also have:

  • ACSM-CP certification (Clinical Exercise Physiologist).
  • Registered Yoga Teacher through YogaFit
  • Weight Management Specialist through ACE
  • Transdisciplinary Obesity Prevention Specialist (USDA

Hi, I’m Katie. I received my certification in yoga sculpt from Corepower Yoga this summer, 2019. I graduated from Saint Catherine University in 2018 with my Masters of Business Administration: Integrated Marketing Communications. My career is marketing, but my roots are in dance! My love for music and movement helps me get students moving to the beat, which is at the core of yoga sculpt. I teach sculpt because in a quick 60 minutes, I find a physical, mental, and emotional shift that makes me feel more positive and spread positivity. If one student leaves my class feeling happier and healthier, then it’s a success!
